Stag parties are never easy to organise – you’re dealing with up to 30 over-excited men and that’s, well, a recipe for disaster if you haven’t got something fun planned.
We can take all that stress away. If you call us in advance we can set up everything you need so that you can get as many as 35 people to the SCSC for a morning or an afternoon.
We can organise everything from a taster session to a full-on competition. We recently catered for a group of 35 people who were celebrating a friend’s 30th birthday so, as requested, we split everyone into teams and sent them off with an instructor per team. They all went round three different stands and were given a handicap based on their performance.
Once that was done all five teams of six lined up for a turn at the simulated flush. A hundred clays were flown over each team from as many as 10 different traps and medals were awarded at the end for the top three teams.
Sound like something you want to do? Well, the SCSC is within easy reach of St. Andrews, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The one stipulation we do make is that everyone must be sober – clay shooting can be extremely dangerous and we will not accept anyone who is under the influence of alcohol. Also, if you were to shoot after drinking you’ll miss the targets and not win the competition! Free drinks from the rest of the party all night for the winner of the clay shooting? Just a thought…
Please call in advance if there are more than four people in your group. It is always best to book if you want to have the undivided attention of an instructor.
"I recently went to SCSC for my Stag Do. I had never been clay pigeon shooting before so a few of us had a lesson. The instructors were great - really friendly, helpful and informative technique wise. They had us hitting clays in no time. It was a great, fun day and I really enjoyed trying the various stands they had. I would definitely go clay pigeon shooting again now."
