We're lucky to have an industry-leading archery range at the clay ground that includes both target and field options. Archery lessons can be done throughout the week (please book in advance).
ABOUT
Archery lessons are usually taken by Charlie Lush, a qualified archery instructor and member of both the SFAA (Scottish Field Archery Association) and STAFFA (Scottish Target and Field Archery Association). He also regularly competes with longbows in competitions, so you’ll be in safe hands!
Age and clothing
We recommend 10 years old as a minimum age, but a lot depends on size, so do please contact us if you are unsure. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and jackets that aren't too baggy. Both left- and right-hand bows are available.
There are two experience options:
Price: £45
Details: Each lesson will last approximately 45 minutes, and you'll have the option to shoot from 10m to 20m depending on your experience and talent! Our instructor will take you through everything you need to know, and will have you hitting the bull in no time at all.
Price: £60
Details: After 20 minutes on the standard targets, you'll work your way through our field archery course, which includes both 3D and 2D targets. Set in-between the forest trees, it's a fantastic way to practice your newly learned skills.
