What Level Am I?

We’d all like to think we’re professional – and you may well be once you’ve had some lessons at the SCSC, but it’s important to start your SCSC experience at the right level.

In the Introductory lesson we will:

• Make sure you have a full safety briefing about the day and also shooting in general.
• Talk you through which gun would be the most appropriate to use whether it’s a .410, a 20 or 12 bore.
• Teach you about the workings of the gun and how to mount it.
• Talk through the different targets you’ll be hitting (yes, hitting!)
• Shoot 15 targets in a safe and controlled environment.

If you have shot before then you’ll be looking at either the Standard or Advanced lessons. The Standard lessons suit almost everyone as we ensure that we never rush a customer. If it takes an hour to shoot 25 targets, it takes an hour. Many clay grounds will try and rush you through the system in order to get onto the next person. We will never do that!

The Advanced lessons are perfect for someone who has shot a lot and holds a shotgun certificate, but either wants to perfect a particular clay discipline or wants to improve on a certain type of game bird.
